Brett was featured today on MassBeacon.com's "Sacred Codcast" program in an interview where he discusses his background and reasons for seeking elected office, his view on issues including taxes, term limits and municipal health plan reform and his top three priorities as Beverly's representative on Beacon Hill, including a unique proposal to link legislative pay to keeping budgets in balance.

Baker Steps Up for Cities and Towns

Brett and Charlie Discuss Health Plan Design IssueToday, Republican candidate for Governor, Charlie Baker, called for immediate action by the legislature to enact reforms allowing cities and towns to have the same control over employee health care benefits as is held by the state. This is an issue that has been heavily discussed in Beverly where it could save over $1 million per year - dollars that could be re-directed to more productive uses - and I have been a vocal proponent of making this happen.
